Abstract
Purpose: Primary malignant lymphoma of the testis only constitutes 1 to 9% all testicular tumors. They are the most common testicular malignancy of elderly men. Only a few reports on the sonographic findings of the primary testicular lymphoma have been published. We described the sonographic findings in such case.

Materials and Methods : We retrospectively reviewed clinical characteristics, laboratory and sonographic findings of 6 patients with testicular mass who underwent operation from 1997 to 2007. Patients had undergone testicular ultrasonography. Mean age was 55.3 years (range 35 to 70) and right to left to both ratio was 4 to 1 to 1.

Results: All 6 patients had painless testicular mass. On basis of the ultrasonographic features, homogenously hypoechoic testicular lesion on gray-scale sonography and increased intralesional flow on color Doppler ultrasonongraphy in all area involved were done.

Conclusions : The sonographic pattern of involvement includes focal or diffuse areas of decreased echogenecity in an enlarged testis and diffusely increased vascularity in the tumor. We conclude ultrasonography may help us diagnose testicular lymphoma but cannot replace surgical and histological exploration of the testis.
